DumpingCloud is a browser extension and related website designed to help Salesforce users manage Salesforce Files and attachments directly within their existing Salesforce session. The service provides features including viewing, downloading, deleting, copying, moving, renaming, comparing, merging, splitting, zipping, watermarking, translating, converting, and synchronizing Salesforce files.

We respect your privacy and are committed to keeping your Salesforce data under your control. This Privacy Policy explains what information DumpingCloud handles, how it is used, and the circumstances in which information may be shared.

1. Our Privacy Commitment

DumpingCloud is designed with a privacy-first architecture.

DumpingCloud does not collect or use your Salesforce files or Salesforce account data for its own purposes.p The extension operates within your existing Salesforce browser session and uses the permissions already available to your Salesforce user.

Your Salesforce files and related content are intended to remain within your browser and Salesforce environment unless you explicitly choose an action that sends or downloads information elsewhere, such as downloading a file to your computer or using a cloud-sync or other external-service feature.

The extension can access Salesforce files and records only to the extent necessary to provide its functionality and only within the access available to your Salesforce user.

DumpingCloud does not bypass Salesforce permissions or sharing rules. If your Salesforce user cannot access a file or record, the extension is not intended to provide access to it.

For example, features such as copying, moving, renaming, deleting, or editing files require the Salesforce permissions necessary for the corresponding action.

4. Salesforce Files and Content

DumpingCloud is a file-management tool. When you use the extension, it may process the Salesforce files and related information necessary to perform the action you request.

Depending on the feature you choose, this may include:

File names
File types
File content
File metadata
Salesforce record associations
File versions
Information required to create, update, move, copy, delete, download, compare, merge, split, zip, watermark, translate, or convert a file

This information is processed to perform the specific operation you initiate.

DumpingCloud does not use your Salesforce files or their contents for advertising, profiling, data brokerage, or unrelated commercial purposes.

5. Browser-Based Processing

DumpingCloud is designed to perform file-management operations within your browser and Salesforce environment.

For operations that are performed locally in the browser, the relevant file content is processed by the extension in your browser rather than being uploaded to DumpingCloud for storage.

The website describes the product as being designed so that data stays within the browser session and does not leave the browser for normal file-management operations.

However, some features may involve external services when you explicitly choose to use functionality that requires such a service.

6. Features That May Involve External Services

Some DumpingCloud features may require communication with services outside the Salesforce browser session.

If you choose to use a cloud-sync feature, files are transferred only as necessary to complete the synchronization operation you request.

The destination cloud-storage provider may separately process your information according to its own privacy policy, terms, security practices, and your organization’s configuration.

You should review the privacy and security practices of the relevant cloud-storage provider before using cloud synchronization for confidential or regulated information.

8. Translation and AI-Powered Processing

DumpingCloud provides file translation functionality, including support for multiple languages.

The translation feature may use AI-powered processing to generate translated output. When you explicitly request a translation, the content necessary to perform the translation may be processed by the service used to provide that functionality.

DumpingCloud does not use translated content for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

For legally binding, highly confidential, regulated, or technically sensitive documents, users should ensure that the use of an AI-powered translation service is permitted by their organization’s policies and applicable contractual or regulatory requirements.

9. Downloads and Actions You Initiate

DumpingCloud can download Salesforce files to your computer when you explicitly request a download.

Once a file has been downloaded to your device, its storage and security are controlled by your browser, operating system, device, and organizational security policies.

Similarly, when you choose to copy, move, delete, rename, watermark, merge, split, convert, translate, or otherwise modify a Salesforce file, DumpingCloud performs the requested operation subject to your existing Salesforce permissions.

DumpingCloud does not independently decide which files to modify or delete.

10. Website Information

When you visit the DumpingCloud website, your browser may provide standard technical information to the website or its supporting infrastructure.

This can include information such as:

Browser type

Operating system
Pages visited

Date and time of access

14. Data Retention

DumpingCloud is designed so that Salesforce file content is not retained by DumpingCloud as a general-purpose file repository.

Because the extension performs many operations directly within your Salesforce session and browser, there is generally no DumpingCloud file-storage account containing copies of your Salesforce files.

Certain limited technical information may be retained where necessary for website operation, security, troubleshooting, support, or legal obligations.

Where a third-party service is used because you explicitly request a particular feature, that service may have its own retention practices.

15. Security

DumpingCloud is designed to operate within your existing Salesforce session and respect your existing Salesforce permissions and sharing rules.

The extension does not require a separate DumpingCloud login for normal use, and it does not store your Salesforce credentials as a separate account credential.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Salesforce account, browser, device, and organizational access controls.

If your Salesforce account is compromised, DumpingCloud may be able to access the Salesforce information that your compromised Salesforce session is authorized to access.

For this reason, we strongly recommend using appropriate Salesforce security controls, multi-factor authentication, device security, and organizational access policies.

16. Your Salesforce Permissions Remain in Control

DumpingCloud does not replace Salesforce’s authorization model.

The extension operates according to the permissions available to your Salesforce user. Features that require access to, creation of, modification of, or deletion of Salesforce files require the appropriate Salesforce permissions.

For example, a user generally needs the appropriate Salesforce access to:

View a file before downloading or comparing it
Create a file before saving a new output
Edit a file before modifying it
Create an association before moving or copying a file
Delete a file before deleting it

DumpingCloud is not intended to provide access to information that the Salesforce user is not authorized to access.

17. Children’s Privacy

DumpingCloud is a business-oriented Salesforce file-management service and is not directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the DumpingCloud service.

18. International Users

DumpingCloud may be accessed by users located in different countries.

If you use DumpingCloud from outside India, you acknowledge that information processed through the website, browser, Salesforce, or third-party services may be subject to the laws and processing environments applicable to those services.

Organizations using DumpingCloud should ensure that their use of the service complies with their own privacy, security, data-residency, and regulatory requirements.
